Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary

Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary will meet every third Saturday of the month at 10 AM. Next meeting will be on Dec 18th at St Jude Catholic Community.

December 2021 -Thursday, December 2 & December 16 10 am until 12 Noon

Normal schedule resumes 2nd & 4th Thursday of each month effective January 2022

Advent Mission

The parish is having an Advent Mission on Dec 2nd, 9th and 16th.  The mission will start at 6:30PM in the parish hall.  Each of the three Thursdays will touch on one of the Advent themes – Hope – Love – Joy.  Each night will include a video, short talk on the subject, table Advent service, Eucharist Adoration, Benediction and you will leave with a take home Advent service kit.  Come make this Advent special.  Sign up no later than Nov 29th.  Sign up is on the table in the hallway near the Advent banner.  For more info call the parish office during normal office hours.

Pease call Betty Rodriguez at the church office 352-347-0154, select the Liturgy office prompt, to schedule all baptisms, funerals, weddings and Quinceaneras. For baptisms, please call at least one month in advance. 4 weddings and Quinceaneras please call at least six months in advance. Thank you

Bible in a Year Podcast

Father Mike Schmitz is leading a Bible in a Year Podcast for 2021.  Fr. Mike will read and comment on scripture everyday until you have read the entire bible in 1 year.  Each day will be available on our website.  There is also a study guide for you to download. Anointing of the Sick Mass

We invite you to participate in the Anointing of the Sick Mass which will be celebrated on the first Tuesday of every month at 5:00PM, our next Mass is on December 7th.  One may wonder what illnesses are considered serious enough to receive the Anointing of the Sick. Any physical, mental or spiritual problem are reasons to come receive the healing touch of the sacrament of the sick.  For more info call the parish office during normal office hours.

Small Christian Community

The group meets every Tuesday at 1:00 PM in conference room 4 at the parish center.  Masks and social distancing is required.  If you would like to host a Small Christian Community meeting in English or Spanish, please call the parish office.

Food Pantry

Once again, the St. Jude Food Pantry is requesting assistance with the restocking of our parish food pantry. These items include (but not limited to): Coffee, Tea, Creamer, Jell-O, Pudding, Mac and Cheese Dried Beans/Peas/Lentils, Canned Yams, Rice, Jelly, Pasta, Cooking Oil (Olive or Canola), Hygiene items and Paper goods.  Please put your items in the large wooden box on your right as you enter the church.  For more info call the parish office during normal office hours.
