Food Sale

The Spanish Choir is having a Food Sale after the Masses on Sunday, Feb 9th.  Forget about making lunch on Sunday and pick up some really great tasting food.  Give yourself a break and also support the choir by picking up lots of food for lunch and maybe even dinner.  Remember it is Good Food and it will put you in a Good Mood.  So buy lots. . 

Blood Pressure Screening

On Saturday Feb 8th after the 4PM Mass, Blood Pressure Screening will be available in the cry room.  This is the perfect time to see if not keeping your new year's resolutions has raised or lowered your blood pressure.  Life is too precious.  Get yourself checked.  For more info call the office during normal office hours.

In honor of this year's real Super Bowl, we are having our own Souper Bowl.  This January the St. Jude Food Pantry will be collecting cans or boxes of soup/stew. If you have an extra can or two, drop it off in the “big soup container” as you enter the foyer of the church. On-Line Studies - We are starting On-Line studies with Ascension Press.  We have 4 studies now available on line.  Gospel of John - Wisdom: God's Vision for Life - Biblical Walk Thru the Mass - Fulfilled: Biblical Foundations of Catholicism Each study has a different number of registrations available.  You will have 2 months to complete a study.  Watch an info video about each course and then pick the one you want to take. The Knights of Columbus are celebrating a Memorial Mass on Saturday, Feb 15th at 10AM to honor and remember Father Anthony.  This will be a special Memorial Mass.  Please take some time out of your busy schedule and spend 1 hour with other community members as we remember Father Anthony at this special Mass.  For more info contact the office during normal office hours.

It is not an “option” to feed the hungry, but a mandate given to us by Jesus Christ (the first Corporal Work of Mercy). So as we prepare our grocery lists, let us remember that we should find some way to “feed the hungry” in our midst. St. Jude Catholic Community is blessed as our parishioners continue to respond to our requests to keep the St. Jude Food Pantry stocked with non-perishable food items. We are seeing an increase in the numbers of families requesting assistance.

Haiti Relief Leap Year Sale Vision 2020 - Feb 29th - 9AM to 2PM - The Ladies Guild will be hosting a raffle of baskets as well as a yard sale- Feb 29th - 9AM to 2PM. They need your help with donations of new or gently used items that can be used either to fill the baskets or for the sale. All proceeds will go toward the ongoing projects in Haiti: solar lanterns, water pipes, kindergarten building, housing. Bring your donations to the parish hall by January 27th. Please note we CANNOT accept electronics, appliances or furniture.
